TEZU, Jun 24: The Lohit District Level Monitoring Committee (DLMC) convened a meeting today at the District Secretariat, chaired by Deputy Commissioner Shashvat Saurabh and attended by Tezu MLA Dr Mohesh Chai.

The DC reviewed ongoing and completed schemes and projects across various departments, emphasizing the need for accurate data to assess the actual progress. He urged departments to work efficiently and avoid unnecessary delays, stressing that such delays are against public interest. Saurabh called for meticulous efforts to achieve government-set targets.

Various departments gave updates on their schemes and projects, highlighting the physical and financial status of central and state flagship projects.

Chai emphasized the importance of coordination and cooperation among officers of different departments to ensure overall district development. He urged executing agencies to avoid duplicity and use funds efficiently, advocating for inter-departmental coordination. He also addressed issues related to hospitals, MNREGA job cards, and drainage problems.

The meeting underscored the commitment to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of developmental projects in the district.
