SEIJOSA, Jun 28: A mega awareness and health camp was organised by the All Arunachal Pradesh Labour Union in collaboration with the Arunachal Pradesh Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (APB&OCWWB) at Seijosa in Pakke Kessang district on Friday.

Health and Family Welfare minister Biyuram Wahge, who inaugurated the event, said workers are nation builders and asked them to take pride in their work.

He also appealed to people to respect the ‘dignity of labour’.

The minister exhorted the workers to be sincere and dedicated to any task assigned to them.

Wahge said the Board was constituted with the sole aim to maintain the status and dignity of the labour community of the state.

He said the state government is empathic to the needs and welfare of the working class.

Labour & Employment secretary Taru Talo highlighted several benefits that the Board is extending to registered labourers and urged them to claim their rights.

AAPLU president Dana Tadu highlighted the activities carried out by the union and benefits available for workers registered with the board.

Hundreds of labourers availed benefit from the health camp.

Among others, APB&OCWWB PRO Tadam Cheram, organising chairman Niya Bagang and organizing secretary Kachi Yame were present on the occasion.
