AALO, July 30: Law and Justice Minister Kento Jini on Tuesday inaugurated the drinking water supply for Kombo Pipak village near Jirdin in West Siang district.
The water supply project was a long-cherished demand of the people of Kombo Pipak village.
Jini, who is also the local MLA, urged the people to donate land for overall development of the area.
Highlighting his five-year plan, the minister said in the next five years road and infrastructure development will be taken up.
The minister had earlier adopted the village.
He said the road connectivity from SFS College to Tadin village is under construction and the plan is to construct an all-weather road to Doji Jeli, Ngomdir and Beye village.
The minister disclosed that Eklavya Model Residential School at Kombo Tarsu will be completed soon.
Kombo circle officer Iken Bam, zilla parishad members, PHED superintendent engineer O Padung, PHED executive engineer Binken Nomuk, panchayat leaders and villagers attended the event.
