KAHO, Jan 18: The Arunachal Bullet Club (ABC) has flagged off a historic ride from Kaho, India’s easternmost village in Arunachal Pradesh, to Koteshwar in Gujarat, the country’s westernmost village. The 15-day ride, covering approximately 3,500 km, aims to promote a new riding-tourist route while fostering national unity and cultural exchange.

Fifty riders from Arunachal Pradesh have registered to participate in the 22nd Brotherhood of Bulleteers Motorcycling Consortium (BOBMC) Rider Mania, scheduled in Gujarat from January 31 to February 2.

Chief of ABC, Techi Tufan, highlighted the club's role in promoting tourism and cultural diversity as silent ambassadors of Arunachal Pradesh. The club has consistently represented the state in Rider Mania for the last six years.

Speaking on the broader vision, the moderator of the Federation of Arunachal Riders, Tanung Jamoh, expressed the intent to host the 23rd BOBMC Rider Mania in 2026 under ABC’s banner. The event is expected to draw over 5,000 participants from across the globe, showcasing Arunachal Pradesh’s natural beauty and culture while boosting tourism and economic activity.

Adding to the event’s significance, Rakhe Agam, the club’s coordinator for lady riders, noted that eleven women riders, including a few pillion riders, are part of the journey. Agam described the ride as a historic initiative never attempted before.

The ride was flagged off from Kaho by Brigadier Jaspreet Singh of the 16 Bihar Regiment. According to ABC vice-chief of protocol, Tadar Thomas, the team from Kaho, led by Sanjay Nath, will be joined by other riders at Itanagar and Shillong under the leadership of Nabam Rana and Chetan Mehra, respectively.

The journey symbolizes the unifying spirit of motorcycling while promoting Arunachal Pradesh as a premier tourism destination in India.
