Naharlagun, Jan 22: In a bid to bolster healthcare accessibility, the State Health Agency (SHA), Chief Minister Arogya Arunachal Society, in partnership with the Nyishi Baptist Church Council (NBCC), organized a successful enrollment drive at the NBCC compound here on Wednesday.
The event aimed to register beneficiaries under the Chief Minister Arogya Arunachal Yojana (CMAAY) and Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY), flagship schemes providing financial protection against medical expenses.
The drive saw enthusiastic participation as numerous individuals and families enrolled for the health assurance programs. A dedicated team from SHA facilitated the registration process, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for all attendees.
SHA chief executive officer Dr Nabam Peter expressed his gratitude to NBCC for their collaboration in reaching the grassroots.
“This partnership marks a significant step toward achieving universal health coverage in Arunachal. Our goal is to leave no one behind in accessing quality healthcare,” he said.
NBCC general secretary Rev Dr Tagang Gelo commended SHA for conducting the enrollment drive and emphasized the importance of such initiatives in raising community awareness.
The CMAAY and AB PM-JAY schemes provide comprehensive health assurance, offering financial security to families during medical emergencies.
This drive is part of the State Health Agency’s ongoing efforts to extend the reach of these schemes to every corner of Arunachal.
