Itanagar, Jan 28: The Biki Welfare Society (BWS) has expressed shock and grief over the untimely demise of Biki Talo on January 27 last, due to prolonged illness.
Born on July 3, 1939, under Gangte circle of Kra Daadi district, late Talo served the society in various capacities including as president of the Bango from 1973 to 1983, head gaon bura of Bindo Maling, political interpreter and as a political assistant G-1 in 2009.
He retired as political assistant.
Late Talo was well versed in local customary laws and a gentle and a kind hearted soul, it said, adding that his untimely demise has left a vacuum which cannot be filled forever.
Offering condolences to the bereaved family members, the society has prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
Late Talo’s funeral services will be held at Dugi village in Kamle district.
