Pasighat, Feb 18: A significant milestone was marked at Donyi Polo Vidya Niketan here, on Tuesday, as the school officially inaugurated its newly constructed library and laboratory.

The ceremony was led by Arunachal Shiksha Vikas Samiti (ASVS) patron Tai Tagak, in the esteemed presence of ASVS president Bodong Yirang, and Oder Gao, joint secretary of the institute.

The event was attended by several distinguished guests, including Sukumaran Keloth, coordinator of ASVS and Dr Kaling Dai, president of the school management committee (SMC), alongside other dignitaries and well-wishers.

A puja was conducted prior to the inauguration, seeking divine blessings for the new facilities.

Following the ceremonial opening, the guests toured the new library and laboratory, expressing appreciation for the enhanced infrastructure and the opportunities it would provide to students.

In a generous move to further support the school’s academic development, Dr Dai announced a donation of ?10,000 for the continuous improvement of the newly established facilities.

The upgraded library and laboratory represent a major step forward in enriching the school’s academic environment, offering students advanced resources for research and learning.
