Wakro, Mar 1: A motivational and interactive session for students of Wakro was organized by the 3 Grenadiers PVC battalion commanding officer, Col Vipul Narayan here in Lohit district on Saturday.
Addressing students of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya and Apna Vidya Bhavan at the Beena Ghose Roy Enclave, Col Girija Loharekar, Training Officer of NCC Group Headquarters, Dibrugarh, urged them to strive for excellence and become role models in society.
She encouraged students to consider a career in the armed forces and serve the nation with dedication.
The officer appreciated the students’ cultural performances and motivated them to pursue academics and creative interests with sincerity. She lauded their talents and urged them to continue their efforts with zeal.
Col Narayan, quoting Rashtra Kavi Ramdhari Singh Dinkar, emphasized the importance of taking pride in India’s rich culture, traditions, and heritage.
Expressing appreciation for the students' teamwork and dedication, he encouraged them to set ambitious goals and work with determination. He advised them not to be discouraged by failures but to explore alternative opportunities for success.
The officers also distributed gifts to the students. The Anu Shiksha Seva Trust expressed gratitude to the dignitaries for their motivational interaction and generous contributions. The local community also appreciated the 3 Grenadiers for their welfare initiatives, particularly in the remote border areas.
