Itanagar, Mar 6: Arunachal Pradesh Governor K T Parnaik on Thursday met his Nagaland counterpart La Ganesan at Raj Bhavan here, during the later’s three-day visit to the state.

The discussion between both the governors focused on key issues related to development, security, and cultural collaboration between the two neighbouring states.

Parnaik extended warm greetings from the people of his state to the Naga community, emphasising the importance of preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of both states. He highlighted their shared traditions and vibrant customs, underscoring cultural exchange as a means to strengthen regional unity.

Security concerns, particularly along the inter-state boundary, were also a major point of discussion.

Parnaik stressed the need for enhanced security measures to maintain law and order, ensure the safety of border communities, and improve overall well-being in these areas.

Both governors reaffirmed their commitment to fostering stronger cooperation in development, cultural ties, and security, calling for reinforced collaboration to further strengthen the bond between Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland.
