Itanagar, Mar 15: A two-day Voluntary Blood Donation Camp themed, "Be Cool, Give Blood" commenced at the Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Complex on Saturday.

The event, organized by the Arunachal Life Saving Foundation in memory of late Nima Wangmu Thongdok, is being held in collaboration with the NSS Unit of the Directorate of Higher & Technical Education.

The initiative aims to promote the spirit of compassion and community service by encouraging voluntary blood donation to save lives.

Assembly speaker Tesam Pongte, who attended the event, felicitated Arunachal Life Saving Foundation chairman Ramesh Jeke for his outstanding contributions to blood donation efforts.

Through his NGO, Jeke has played a crucial role in saving thousands of lives over the years by organizing similar camps across the state.

The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from volunteers, highlighting the growing awareness of the importance of blood donation.
