Ziro, Mar 17: A career guidance programme was organised at Saint Claret College (SCCZ), here on Monday, in collaboration with NGO Helping Hands and ALS IAS.

The event aimed to provide students with valuable insights into career planning and competitive examinations.

DGP & Special Commissioner of Delhi Police Robin Hibu, who is also the president of Helping Hands, served as the resource person for the programme.

Addressing the students, he emphasised the importance of pursuing one’s passion as a key factor in achieving success.

“A career is the pursuit of one’s passion with success. Whatever you like, whatever your career is, if you achieve success in it, that is a career,” he said and stressed the significance of discipline and commitment, urging students to step beyond their comfort zones.

Speaking on competitive exam preparation, Hibu highlighted the need for a thorough understanding of the syllabus and unwavering focus to achieve one’s goals.

The interactive session saw enthusiastic participation from students, who posed queries about career choices, preparation strategies, and overcoming challenges in competitive examinations.

Hibu also engaged with the teaching staff of the college, offering academic and professional insights.

Later in the day, the Lower Subansiri district administration, in collaboration with the health promotion cell of the college, organised an awareness campaign on drug addiction, health, and hygiene for adolescent girls under the Arunachal Rising Campaign.
