Itanagar, Apr 4: The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) Mains examination is scheduled to be conducted on April 6, 7, 9, and 10, 2025, at both the new and old APPSC buildings, officials said on Friday.
Addressing a media briefing, APPSC secretary Parul Gaur Mittal said that senior government officials have been appointed as Observers and Coordinators to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination.
“Adequate security arrangements have been made, with male and female personnel deployed for frisking and law and order duties. Traffic police will also oversee traffic management on exam days,” she said.
Candidates have been advised to follow the instructions mentioned on the Admit Cards and arrive at the exam centre well in advance to complete all formalities in a timely manner.
Meanwhile, the newly constructed examination hall at the Commission’s new office premises was inaugurated by APPSC chairman Prof Pradip Lingfa earlier on the day.
The event was attended by Commission members Koj Tari, Rosy Taba and Jalash Pertin, along with Mittal and officials from APPSC and the Public Works Department (PWD).
The hall, built with government support and executed by PWD, was fast-tracked to ensure the smooth conduct of the APPSC Mains Examination 2024-25.
The facility comprises 18 halls across three floors, with a total seating capacity of over 1,400 candidates. It is equipped with modern infrastructure, including high-quality lighting, central cooling, CCTV surveillance, accessible washrooms, and lifts for ease of access.
“The Commission remains committed to strengthening examination processes and infrastructure to enhance the experience for candidates and staff,” Mittal said.
