Itanagar, Apr 9: The Arunachal Pradesh Information Commission (APIC) has announced the rescheduling of hearings for several appeal cases originally set for April 14 due to a public holiday on account of the birth anniversary of Dr BR Ambedkar.

According to a notification issued by APIC, the hearings before state information commissioner Khopey Thaley have been postponed and will now take place on May 5 at 10:30 am.

The rescheduled cases include appeal numbers APIC-325/2024, APIC-250/2024, APIC-318/2024, APIC-265/2024, APIC-264/2024, and APIC-263/2024.

Appellants involved in these cases include Jiten Lora, Gollo Hari and Talh Taram, Tabing Lamgu, and Tarnchi Gungte. The cases pertain to various respondents, including Public Information Officers (PIOs) from the divisional forest offices of Seppa and Khellong, the office of the deputy director of school education of Ziro, and the rural works and water resources divisions of Pasighat and Ziro.

The rescheduled hearings will proceed as per the new date and time unless otherwise notified.
