Likabali, Apr 12: Lower Siang deputy commissioner Rujjum Rakshap on Saturday convened a meeting with officials of the Labour and Employment department to chalk out plans for carrying out a special registration camp for the Gig and Platform Workers on e-Sharam portal of the government through Common Service Centres.
The camp is being carried out at the directive of the Union Ministry of Labour and Employment to facilitate extending the social security benefits including Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AP-PMJAY) and Chief Minister’s Arogya Arunachal Yojana (CMAAY), to the workers.
The camp will end on April 17 next.
