Likabali, Apr 16: The Lower Siang unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday commemorated the 134th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr BR Ambedkar with a district level workshop here.
The event was organized under the banner of the "Dr BR Ambedkar Respect Campaign", highlighting the contributions of the architect of the Indian Constitution.
The workshop featured speeches by key district and senior party leaders including Lower Siang district in-charge Techi Necha, resource person and former district BJP president Gollol Bogy, Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly deputy speaker Kardo Nyigyor, Lower Siang district BJP president Moba Taipodia and others.
The workshop served as a platform to reflect on Dr Ambedkar’s enduring legacy, especially his role in shaping modern India through social reform, constitutional vision, and commitment to equality.
