Pasighat, Apr 19: Ambassador of Italy to India, Antonio Bartoli, visited Aohali and Silluk villages in East Siang district on April 16, accompanied by local MLA Oken Tayeng, deputy commissioner Tayi Taggu, and other officials.

During the visit, the delegation toured Aohali, known for its cultural significance as a traditional zero-hunting village, and Silluk, recognised for its cleanliness initiatives. The ambassador interacted with community members and local leaders to understand their efforts in conservation, sustainable practices, and grassroots governance.

The visit was part of the ambassador’s broader engagement in Arunachal Pradesh to explore cultural exchange opportunities and local development models.
