Lorging, Apr 21: An awareness workshop on semi-intensive Mithun farming practices was organised by the Jomlo Mongku Mithun Farmers Federation in collaboration with the ICAR National Research Centre on Mithun, Medziphema at Lorging village in Siang district on Sunday.
The technical support team provided valuable insights on deworming, vaccination benefits, mineral mixtures, and encouraged farmers to adopt semi-intensive farming methods.
Additionally, support was also offered in the form of barbed wire and night shelters for Mithun conservation units.
Later, the team attended the Mithun conservation fencing unit in Mori village.
The event celebrated the traditional fencing of the Mithun conservation unit.
During the event, mineral mixtures, productivity and fertility medications, deworming medicines, and first aid kits were distributed for Mithun care.
