The event featured participation from supervisors and gramsevikas of the three ICDS projects in the district—Pasighat, Ruksin, and Mebo. The Pasighat ICDS project secured the first position, followed by Ruksin and Mebo in the second and third places, respectively.

ICDS deputy director and Poshan Abhiyan nodal officer M Gao outlined the department’s initiatives aimed at addressing malnutrition. She emphasised that the focus of this year’s Poshan Pakhwada included four key areas: care in the first 1,000 days of life, promoting the beneficiary module in the Poshan Tracker, management of malnutrition through the CMAM (Community-Based Management of Acute Malnutrition) module, and encouraging a healthy lifestyle to tackle childhood obesity.
Child Development Project Officers (CDPOs) from Pasighat, Mebo, and Ruksin presented a summary of their activities during the fortnight-long campaign, which was held from April 8 to 22.
