Aalo, Apr 28: The first quarter district level monitoring committee (DLMC) review meeting of West Siang district, for the financial year 2025-26 was held on Monday at Aalo, the district headquarters, under the chairpersonship of deputy commissioner Mamu Hage.
The meeting focused on assessing the progress of projects implemented under centrally sponsored schemes (CSS), state sponsored schemes (SSS), and Prime Minister and Chief Minister Flagship programmes.
Emphasising the need for improved performance, the DC directed all departments to prepare specific action plans with clear timelines aligned to the government-set targets.
She instructed the departments to immediately submit updated achievement reports for each line department to ensure accurate quarterly reporting.
Highlighting the importance of continuous monitoring, she urged the health, education, and urban development departments to intensify their efforts to meet their goals.
West Siang zilla parishad chairperson Tumpe Ete also attended the meeting and called on all departments to work collaboratively with panchayat members to ensure government schemes and projects effectively reach the rural population.
The meeting saw participation from administrative officers, heads of departments (HoDs), and other key stakeholders.
