DADAM, Apr 30: Tirap Deputy Commissioner Techu Aran on Wednesday inspected the construction site of the Tupi-Dadam road, which is being implemented under the Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI) scheme, 2024.

Accompanied by district planning officer LR Roy, PWD junior engineer TT Tara, and representative of the executing agency NM Enterprise, R Morang, the DC reviewed the pace and quality of the ongoing work.

During the visit, Aran advised the Public Works Department and the executing agency to strictly adhere to the approved Detailed Project Report (DPR) and technical specifications. He stressed the need for constructing proper shoulders using RCC pavement or blacktopping to ensure smooth vehicular movement.

The DC urged all stakeholders to avoid unnecessary delays and meet deadlines so that the infrastructure could be made available to the public at the earliest. He also appealed to landowners in the area to cooperate with the construction agencies to facilitate smooth execution of the project.

Responding to the DC's queries on the timeline, the site engineers assured that the project would be completed within a week.
