Namsai, May 5: A Seva Aapke Dwar 2.0 programme was conducted at Government Upper Primary School, Emphum, on Monday, covering 11 villages under Chongkham circle with the objective of delivering government services directly to citizens at the grassroots level.
The outreach event, organised by the district administration, saw participation from 23 government departments and facilitated access to various schemes and services for residents of Emphum, Tingwa, Munglang, Embong, Mankao, Inju, Insa, Pankhao, Tissue, Lathoo, and Namgo villages.
Zilla parishad member of Chongkham, Chow Jenia Namchoom, inaugurated the programme in the presence of Namsai deputy commissioner, additional deputy commissioner of Chongkham, heads of departments, and gaon burahs of the area.
During the event, beneficiaries were issued soil health cards, Scheduled Tribe certificates, and birth certificates.
