Itanagar, May 7: The Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (APSCPCR) held a farewell ceremony on Wednesday to officially bid adieu to outgoing member secretary Khoda Rakhi.

Rakhi, who served in the role since August 9, 2021, handed over charge to the newly appointed member secretary, Yakar Dawe.

In her remarks during the function, APSCPCR chairperson Ratan Anya praised Rakhi’s dedicated service, highlighting her unwavering commitment to the protection and welfare of children in the state.

Under Rakhi’s leadership, the Commission undertook several impactful initiatives, including a state-level workshop on the POCSO Act, 2012, and the observance of autism awareness month combined with a free disability camp.

The chairperson extended heartfelt appreciation and best wishes to Rakhi as she move on to her new role as under secretary in the Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB).

Welcoming the incoming member secretary Yakar Dawe, the chairperson expressed confidence that her extensive experience in public service will further strengthen the Commission's mission.

She reaffirmed the Commission’s commitment to creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for every child in the state.

The APSCPCR team expressed deep gratitude to Rakhi for her exemplary service and wished her continued success in all future endeavors.
