Tezu, Jun 6: Lohit district information and public relations officer (DIPRO) Nyatum Doke has urged students to productively utilise library reading hours to build their careers, emphasising that not everyone has a private library or reading space at home.

He advised students to set realistic daily goals, plan their studies independently, and develop self-reliance rather than relying solely on teachers.

Stressing the importance of ethical values, he encouraged putting the well-being of parents first and practicing small acts of environmental care to ensure nature thrives.

Addressing prize winners of the Environment Day celebrations at Bamboosa Library, here, Doke gave away awards for the eco-friendly Rangoli and Know Your India Quiz contests.

He also appealed to parents and teachers to motivate youth participation in literary contests and events during vacations.

Bamboosa Library reader Arpita Ram highlighted key aspects of the library movement, while other members showcased reading promotion techniques.

Senior volunteers Jeenamsi Ngadong welcomed guests, and Nishanlu Kri proposed the vote of thanks.
