Pasighat, Jun 9: A free health camp organised by Siang Trust at Bizari village in Lower Dibang Valley district on Sunday, provided medical care to 165 patients, including senior citizens.
The camp offered free blood pressure and sugar tests, along with distribution of free medicines.
Specialist doctors including urologist Dr Kapang Yirang, 0phthalmologist Dr Ponung Perme, dental surgeon Dr Karma Pait, Dr Anuari Ering, retired additional director Dr Saibal Bhattacharjee, and retired joint director Dr Runi Tasung participated in the camp, supported by medical staff and Siang Trust volunteers.
Local leaders including GBs, the village secretary, and elders assisted in conducting the camp.
According to a release from Siang Trust, similar health camps are planned for other remote villages in the region.
