Ziro, Jun 9: Marking their silver jubilee, the Millennium Science Batch (1998–2000) of Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Ziro, has donated 40 pairs of desks and benches to their alma mater, enhancing the school’s infrastructure and learning environment.
The furniture was officially handed over to Principal Hibu Tama during a brief ceremony held on the school campus.
The contribution is part of the batch’s ‘Give Back to the Alma Mater’ initiative, celebrating 25 years since they graduated from the institution.
Now serving in various capacities across Arunachal Pradesh and India, the alumni came together in a heartfelt gesture to honor the school that shaped their formative years and forged lifelong bonds.
Principal Tama expressed gratitude for the donation and lauded the alumni for their meaningful support.
“Such contributions go a long way in improving the learning environment for our students and inspire current students to value the legacy they are part of,” he said.
The gesture reflects the batch’s enduring connection with GHSS Ziro and sets a notable example of alumni engagement in educational development.
