Itanagar, Jun 10: The Arunachal State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ArSRLM) Tuesday launched its first-ever workshop on knowledge management & communication.
This pioneering four-day workshop marks a significant step towards institutionalising knowledge management systems within the mission and building robust communication capacities at all levels.
The workshop is being facilitated by Vinod Agrahari, national mission manager (KMC) from the national mission management unit (NMMU) NRLM, under the union rural development ministry.
His expertise is expected to guide the ArSRLM team in adopting national best practices in the field of knowledge sharing and communication for development.
The training is being attended by a wide cohort of ArSRLM functionaries, including state mission managers, program managers, district mission managers and other key officials.
Over the course of the workshop, participants will engage in two days of intensive theoretical learning, followed by two days of hands-on practical exercises, focusing on documentation techniques, storytelling approaches, content creation, use of digital tools, and strategic communication planning.
The initiative is a part of ArSRLM’s broader vision to strengthen institutional frameworks and foster a knowledge-driven, transparent, and participatory ecosystem for rural transformation in the state.
The workshop also underscores the mission’s commitment to ensuring that community-level innovations, success stories, and best practices are systematically captured, curated, and disseminated for wider learning and replication.
By empowering its teams with enhanced skills in knowledge management and communication, ArSRLM aims to improve its outreach, amplify community voices, and build stronger linkages between field experiences and policy-level action.
