Rupa, Jun 28: Arunachal unit BJP president Kaling Moyong on Saturday concluded a five-day organisational tour in West Kameng district, with the final leg held at the party’s Rupa Mandal office.
During the visit, Moyong engaged with district and mandal-level functionaries to review ongoing party activities and emphasise the need for strengthened grassroots coordination ahead of the upcoming panchayat elections. He handed over appointment certificates to newly inducted mandal office bearers at Rupa and called on party members to remain proactive and focused on local organisational goals.
Earlier in Bomdila, Moyong held discussions with West Kameng BJP office bearers and visited the District Craft Centre, where he highlighted the role of indigenous industries in promoting local economic development.
State BJP office bearers including Ashok Sangchoju, Tadar Niglar, Vinay Gupta, Dolang Tako, Nalong Mize, and Nima Sange accompanied Moyong during the visit. Chief Councillor of Pasighat Municipal Council, Okiam Moyong Borang, also joined the tour.
The tour concluded with participation from party representatives across West Kameng district and mandal leaders from Rupa and Kalaktang. Party sources described the visit as part of an ongoing effort to bolster organisational preparedness at the grassroots level.
