Itanagar, July 6: The East Kameng Social Welfare and Cultural Organisation (EKSWCO) on Saturday conducted a mock interview-cum-counselling programme for candidates from East Kameng district who qualified for the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Combined Competitive Examination (APPSCCE) 2024 mains.
Seventeen candidates participated in the session held at Cygnett Hotel here, aimed at helping them prepare for the upcoming viva-voce round.
The initiative sought to enhance candidates’ readiness by simulating interview conditions and offering feedback from serving officers. The resource panel included additional deputy commissioner of Seppa Manjunath R, Smart City Itanagar CEO Dahey Sangno, superintendent of police (Capital) Jummar Basar, circle officers Jina Bagang and Fema Taku, and district food & civil supplies officer Honi Bayang.
Candidates were assessed on current affairs, governance, socio-economic matters, and personal perspectives, mirroring the structure of the APPSCCE viva-voce. The panel advised aspirants to remain well-informed about developmental issues in Arunachal Pradesh and to approach the interview process with integrity, clarity, and contextual awareness.
A one-to-one counselling session followed the mock interviews, during which candidates received individual guidance.
EKSWCO chairperson Raya Flago Taniang said the programme was organised to support the district’s candidates by offering practical interview preparation. He acknowledged the contribution of the resource persons and expressed confidence in the candidates’ ability to perform in the final selection stage.
He said EKSWCO would continue to facilitate initiatives aimed at empowering youth and contributing to East Kameng’s development.
