LONGDING, Jun 26: A one-day free medical camp was organized by the Longding unit of the Arunachal Vikas Parishad (AVP) at Tissa government secondary school in Longding district.

Longding deputy commissioner Bekir Nyorak, who inaugurated the event, thanked AVP for rendering free medical services to the needy rural people. He also urged all the registered patients to avail optimum benefits being provided in the health camp.

More than 275 people benefitted from the camp.

Dr Vivek Khapli and Dr Priyanka Khapli from Akola, Maharashtra, led the free medical camp.

To mark the event, a plantation drive was also organised by the AVP team.

Among others, AVP Longding unit president Changwang Wangsa, CRPF jawans, teachers and students of the school participated in the camp.
