ZIRO, Jun 26: Yachuli MLA Toko Tatung, chaired his inaugural meeting with the heads of departments of Keyi Panyor district at the district secretariat at Hapoli on Wednesday.

During the interaction, Tatung stressed on transparency and adherence to deadlines for various centrally sponsored flagship programs and schemes aimed at welfare.

"I am committed to ensuring developmental works reach the grassroots level in a transparent and timely manner," said the NCP (Ajit Pawar) MLA.

He urged the gathering to pool authentic data-based systems to achieve targets and deliverables for the newly created district.

Tatung, a St Stephen’s College graduate and renowned entrepreneur-turned-MLA, acknowledged the challenge of meeting public expectations promptly but expressed confidence in achieving goals through cooperation among HoDs.

Lower Subansiri and Keyi Panyor deputy commissioner Vivek H P called on the Lower Subansiri HoDs to support Keyi Panyor's administrative duties.

"Keyi Panyor, carved out from Lower Subansiri, shares a border. HoDs' cooperation will ensure smooth functioning until regular postings," said the DC.

The daylong meeting, coordinated by Yachuli additional deputy commissioner Suraj Gurung, also saw attendance from Lower Subansiri SP Keni Bagra and HoDs of both the districts.
