BOLENG, Jun 25: Advisor to Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary, Dairy Development, Fisheries Minister Talem Taboh on Monday visited Jomlo Farm in Siang district and inspected the farm’s facilities.

Taboh, who is also the local MLA, interacted with government officers, farm staffers and locals.

He discussed all aspects and measures that can boost agri-horti production and piggery development in the farm.

The advisor praised the dedication and hard work put in by the farm’s staff.

He reiterated that the state government is committed to provide continued support to promote sustainable and cutting-edge agriculture practices.

Jomlo agriculture farm is one of the oldest government farms in the state established in 1968, informed Siang district agriculture officer Tagang Jerang.

Siang district veterinary officer Dr Anthony Pertin presented the status report of the Jomlo piggery farm.
