ITANAGAR, Jun 28: The Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB) has rescheduled the Physical Standard Test/Physical Efficiency Test (PST/PET) for specific candidates who were unable to attend the previously scheduled tests under Advertisement No 09/2020 dated January 21, 2020, for various posts.

The affected posts include Head Constable (RT), Head Constable (Telecom), Head Constable Driver (Male) and Constable Driver (Male).

These tests were initially conducted at the Police Training Centre (PTC) in Banderdewa from June 6 to 24.

“The APSSB has decided to allow candidates who downloaded the admit card but could not appear on the scheduled date and time, candidates whose applied post code was not mentioned in the schedule on their admit cards,” a notice from APPSB secretary D Varma read.

Also, candidates who applied separately for posts and did not carry the respective admit cards on the day of the scheduled PST/PET will now be allowed to appear for the PST/PET on July 03 at PTC Banderdewa.

The reporting time is 6:30 am and the gates will close at 8:30 am on July 3. No further opportunities will be provided after this date, the order said.

All candidates in the above categories must bring a hardcopy of their admit card and identity card. If a candidate has been issued different admit cards for different posts, they must bring all such admit cards with them on July 03.

The rescheduling of the test has raised several concerns among the candidates with some even questioning the seriousness of the APPSB in conducting examinations and at the same time the negligence of the candidates who did not come for the initial test.

Efforts to contact the APPSB officials were unsuccessful.
