PASIGHAT, July 1: The Assam Electronics Development Corporation Limited (AMTRON), a leader in 3D printing and advanced medical technology, showcased its latest innovations in digital foot and dental scanning in Pasighat.

At the Police Training Academy here, AMTRON conducted a demonstration of their digital foot scanning machines, which are used to diagnose conditions such as high arch, low arch, and flat foot. The demonstration aimed to enhance the mobility of police personnel by providing customized insoles based on the analysis.

On June 26 last, AMTRON organized a 3D dental scanning program at Lekhi government secondary school. This initiative provided essential dental health services to the community, benefiting numerous students with accurate and precise dental screenings using state-of-the-art 3D scanning and printing technology.

Additionally, AMTRON held free dental check-up camps and awareness programs at the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST), Nirjuli. The events were attended by notable individuals including NERIST’s Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) regional coordinator Dr T Patel, UBA coordinator Dr M Mishra, UBA member Dr Y Tamut, Dr Piyali Das, and Santosh Tamang.

AMTRON representatives, dental screening expert Alam and 3D printing expert Nitin, demonstrated the cutting-edge technologies used for oral 3D scanning and printing. These technologies offer high accuracy and precision while significantly reducing the time required for the processes.
