ITANAGAR, July 2: The Arunachal Press Club (APC) and Arunachal Pradesh Union of Working Journalists (APUWJ) have expressed shock and grief over the sudden demise of Mina Pradhan, mother of video journalist Raj Pradhan.

Mina reportedly passed away this morning after a sudden illness. She was around 50 years old. She was a permanent resident of Jutlibari village, Lakhimpur, Assam.

"The APC and APUWJ are deeply shocked at the sudden demise of Mina Pradhan. Our thoughts and prayers are with our comrade Raj Pradhan in the hour of grief," the press organisations said in a condolence message.

It also prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and strength to the family members of the deceased.

Meanwhile, the Arunachal Electronic and Digital Media Association (AEDMA) has mourned the demise of Mina Pradhan.

“We understand the immense grief that comes with the loss of a parent. Therefore, on behalf of all the digital media houses under AEDMA, we offer our support during this hour of sorrow,” AEDMA president JT Tagam in a condolence message.

Offering condolences to Raj and his family during this difficult time, the AEDMA has prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
