ITANAGAR, July 3: Governor KT Parnaik on Wednesday called on his Karnataka counterpart Thawar Chand Gehlot at Raj Bhavan Bangalore and discussed the welfare of the people of Arunachal with a particular focus on students and medical patients.

Parnaik told Gehlot that Bangalore being one of India’s top educational hubs, there are a significant number of students from Arunachal Pradesh pursuing higher studies there.

He requested the Karnataka governor to support and look after these students’ well-being.

Additionally, the governor mentioned that many patients travel to Karnataka for medical treatments and asked Gehlot to ensure these patients receive the best care and comfort during their stay.

On behalf of the people of Arunachal Pradesh, Parnaik extended an invitation to the governor and his wife Anita Gehlot to visit Arunachal Pradesh.
