TAWANG, Jul 10: The first District Level Monitoring Committee (DLMC) meeting of the current financial year 2024-25 was held this morning in the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner's office in Tawang. The meeting aimed to review the progress and achievements of developmental activities, including centrally sponsored and state-sponsored programs in Tawang district.

The meeting was chaired by deputy commissioner Kanki Darang and attended by additional deputy commissioner Jang Hakraso Kri, EAC cum DPO Tawang Sangey Wangmu Mosobi, executive engineers of all work-executing agencies, PD DRDO Tawang Tenzin Jambey, and heads of departments implementing CSS and state welfare schemes in the district.

Addressing the officers, Darang emphasized the importance of strict monitoring and maintaining the quality of all developmental works by the executing agencies.

He stressed the need for timely completion and submission of utilization certificates for completed projects. The health department was urged to expedite the saturation of PMJAY-AB, which is under the saturation tracker. Executing departments were instructed to bring the latest photographs of their achievements to the next meeting.

Mosobi asked departments to segregate and highlight issues in their projects to focus on solutions in the next DLMC meeting.

During the meeting, executing agencies gave presentations showcasing their achievements and the progress of ongoing projects.
