ITANAGAR, Jul 11: APCS officer Bopai Puroik has made history by becoming the first member of the Puroik community to be appointed as a deputy commissioner.
Bopai, who was presently heading the Puroik Welfare Matters as joint secretary, has been transferred to the newly created Bichom district as its new DC.
His appointment marks a significant milestone for the community, known for its resilience and cultural heritage in Arunachal.
