THINGBU, July 21: In a significant step towards fostering education in remote regions, the Gajraj Corps on Sunday provided essential educational amenities to Netaji Subash Chandra Bose Awwasiya Vidyalaya, a boarding school located in remote village of Thingbu under Tawang district.
The initiative aimed to contribute towards improvement of educational facilities and create a conducive learning environment for the students of remote areas, an army official said.
The amenities provided included a PA system, water dispenser, computers, inverter and digital learning tools.
Around 17 students, 8 teachers and 45 residents including gaon buras attended the event.
The Gajraj Corps remains dedicated to its mission of serving the community and contributing to the socio-economic development of the region, the official said.
This initiative was part of their ongoing efforts to support education, health and overall well-being in remote and rural areas.
