ITANAGAR, Aug 21: The Department of Tirap, Changlang, and Longding (DoTCL) hosted a felicitation ceremony on August 21, in Itanagar to honour the classes X and XII toppers from government schools across the three districts. The event, held at the DK Auditorium Hall of the Legislative Assembly, saw the participation of Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein as the chief guest.

Addressing the gathering, Mein expressed his delight at the exemplary performance of the students, emphasizing the importance of recognizing hard work and dedication. He encouraged the young achievers to continue striving for excellence in their future endeavors.

Highlighting the government's commitment to nurturing young talent, Mein noted that the state is taking active measures to enhance academic standards while also promoting sports, arts, and culture. He emphasized that initiatives are being taken to train and equip local youth from an early age, enabling them to compete on par with their peers at the national and international levels.

"We want our children to reach their full potential and achieve success in all areas of life—be it sports, academics, music, theater, or any other field of interest," Mein said while motivating the students to pursue their dreams with sincerity and hard work.
