Itanagar, Feb 10: The Arunachal Pradesh Raj Bhavan on Monday hosted the live screening of the eighth edition of ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’, addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In his speech, PM Modi encouraged students, teachers, and parents to reduce exam-related stress and adopt a positive attitude towards learning.
A large number of school students, teachers, and parents from various schools in the state capital, including private institutions, participated in the program.
State Governor Lt Gen (Retd) K T Parnaik, who is on an official tour to Uttar Pradesh, sent a special message for the occasion.
He described ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ as more than a discussion, calling it “a celebration of learning, resilience, and the unwavering spirit of hard work.”
“Examinations are not the ultimate destination but a stepping stone in your journey of growth. Instead of fearing them, embrace exams as challenges that will strengthen and refine you,” he advised students in his message.
Parnaik urged students to trust themselves, stay confident, focused, and committed, while maintaining healthy minds and bodies. He emphasized that success is not just about hard work but also about smart work, positivity, and self-belief.
Addressing parents and teachers, he encouraged them to support their children, appreciate their efforts, and remind them that success lies in learning and personal growth.
To students, he said, “Appear in your exams with courage and confidence. You are capable, you are prepared, and you will succeed.”
Parnaik also expressed heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Modi for initiating this program and personally engaging with students.
The secretary to the governor, Sharad Bhaskar Darade, spoke to the participants during the event, highlighting the Prime Minister’s concern for students, who represent the future of the nation.
Darade shared practical advice for approaching examinations and encouraged students to put in their best efforts.
The live screening was made possible with the support of the state National Informatics Centre and the technical team from the Information and Public Relations department.
