Itanagar, Feb 11: The state education department has taken a significant step toward transforming the state's education system by recently signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Adhyayan Quality Education Foundation (AQEF).

The collaboration focuses on the holistic development of the school ecosystem, with a special emphasis on strengthening school complexes.

Speaking at the event, state Education Commissioner Amjak Tak highlighted the importance of structured interventions in building a robust school framework.

“This MoU marks an important milestone in our efforts to uplift the quality of education in Arunachal Pradesh. Strengthening school complexes will allow for shared resources, peer learning, and better teacher support, ultimately benefiting students across the state,” he said.

The partnership aims to enhance the quality of education through multiple initiatives, including improving teaching practices, fostering community involvement, strengthening leadership and governance, and activating school complexes as vibrant learning hubs.

Adopting a systemic approach, the initiative envisions schools not only as centers of academic excellence but also as nurturing environments for holistic student development.

The event was attended by key officials, including education secretary Duly Kamduk, joint secretary Namgyal Angmo, SCERT director Toko Babu, SCERT deputy director Drema Ringu, OSD to the education minister Pema Norbu Thongchi, and AQEF director Manju Gupta.
