Itanagar, Mar 3: Gamjum Laye, a native of Siru village in Arunachal Pradesh’s Lepa Rada district, has been selected as an officer in the Indian Army through the NCC Special Entry Scheme.
Laye, an alumnus of NIT Arunachal Pradesh, secured an All-India merit rank of 50, showcasing his dedication and perseverance.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu congratulated Laye on his achievement stating that “his journey, shaped by the discipline and values of the National Cadet Corps (NCC), serves as an inspiration for many aspiring candidates.”
His selection highlights the opportunities provided by the NCC Special Entry Scheme for young aspirants willing to serve the nation, Khandu said.
