Itanagar, Mar 19: The Arunachal Pradesh State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ArSRLM) is organizing a two-day DDU-GKY Job Fair 2025 to provide employment opportunities for skilled youth trained under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY).
Renowned entrepreneur Teli Tada Camdir, inaugurated the event here on Wednesday.
Camdir, who holds the position of managing director in eight companies, also conducted a career counseling session, urging youth to pursue skill-based employment.
The CEO-cum-State Mission Director of ArSRLM said the initiative aligns with the Prime Minister’s Viksit Bharat Mission, aimed at making India a developed nation. She stressed the importance of mutual commitment between employers and employees for sustainable growth.
The COO (Skills) of ArSRLM emphasized the organization’s commitment to bridging the gap between skilled candidates and employers. He highlighted the role of such job fairs in creating tangible employment opportunities and leveraging Arunachal Pradesh’s youth potential for economic growth.
Nabam Ompi, SMM (MPB) and placement in-charge of ArSRLM, coordinated with employers to ensure the smooth execution of the fair.
Eight leading companies, including NSDC International, Compass Group, All India Education Health and Social Development Council, Sri Saravana Mills Pvt Ltd, Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd, Safe Express, Sahi Export, and SCM Garment, participated in the event, interviewing DDU-GKY trained candidates.
The two-day event will conclude with an offer letter distribution ceremony on Thursday, marking a significant step in empowering rural youth through sustainable employment opportunities under DDU-GKY.
