Itanagar, Apr 9: The Arunachal Pradesh unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), led by its President Kaling Moyong, carried out a two-fold outreach on Wednesday, expressing condolences to a bereaved party member and checking on injured victims of a recent road accident.

In the first leg of the visit, Moyong, accompanied by vice president Tarh Tarak, secretary Taring Tiri and others, visited the residence of Joram Taji, party’s office secretary of Itanagar district to offer condolences following the demise of his mother, Joram Yame.

Yame, a respected elder from Piel Joram in Keyi Panyor district, passed away on April 8 at the age of 65 after a prolonged illness. Known for her warmth, strength, and dedication to her family, her loss was deeply felt within the community.

The BJP team paid floral tributes and offered prayers for her eternal peace, standing in solidarity with the bereaved family during their time of grief.

Later, the delegation proceeded to Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (TRIHMS) at Naharlagun, to check on the condition of Kabak Yania Lokam, ZPM of Pania Sang in Kurung Kumey district, who was seriously injured in a road accident on April 7 last.

The accident occurred near Potin while she was on her way to Koloriang to participate in Sthapna Diwas programmes.

Also injured in the accident were Dake Yajul, GPC of Nampe, and a child passenger.

Moyong expressed deep concern for the victims and extended his heartfelt wishes for their speedy and full recovery.
