Itanagar, Apr 17: Governor KT Parnaik and Chief Minister Pema Khandu have greeted the people on the solemn and sacred occasion of Good Friday.
"Today, as we pause to reflect on the profound sacrifice of Lord Jesus Christ, we are reminded of the enduring power of love, grace, and salvation,” he said in a message.
Parnaik said that Good Friday calls us to look within to remember Christ's compassion in the face of suffering, and the boundless mercy that flowed from the cross.
His selfless act of love is a guiding light, encouraging us to lead lives filled with kindness, forgiveness, and humility. As we embrace the spirit of this holy day, let us hold close the values that unite us: faith in goodness, love for our fellow beings, and hope for a brighter tomorrow, he said.
May this day of reflection bring peace to your heart, healing to your soul, and inspire us all to be instruments of compassion in the world around us, the governor wished.
“On this solemn day of Good Friday, I extend my heartfelt greetings to all our Christian brothers and sisters across Arunachal Pradesh and beyond,” Khandu said in a message this evening on the holy occasion.

“His teachings of love, forgiveness, and compassion continue to inspire us all, regardless of our faith or background. It reminds us of the strength found in humility and the power of sacrifice for the greater good,” Khandu added.
On this sacred day, he called upon all, to reach out to one another with kindness and support, especially to those in need, and reaffirm shared commitment to peace, harmony, and brotherhood.
