Itanagar, Apr 24: In a heartwarming display of courage and dedication, the 108 free emergency services team in the state successfully delivered two healthy babies, a girl and a boy, in separate incidents on Wednesday.

The first case unfolded around 5:30 pm when a pregnant woman being transported from Holok Bari to the district hospital at Roing in Lower Dibang Valley district, went into severe labor.

Emergency medical technician (EMT) Ainam Lego acted swiftly, stepping into the role of a midwife with extraordinary calm and skill. Inside the ambulance, she safely delivered a baby girl. Both mother and child were later admitted to the hospital and are reported to be in stable condition.
