Dirang, Jun 24: As part of the ongoing Dhatri Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA), outreach camps were organised at Magopam and Munna villages in West Kameng district on Monday to extend various government services to the rural populace.
Thrizino-Buragaon MLA TN Glow attended the camp at Magopam and urged residents to make use of the services made available through the initiative.
Multiple departments delivered services including Aadhaar enrolment, basic banking, health check-ups, and awareness on social welfare schemes. Officials said the programme aimed to ensure accessibility of essential services in remote and tribal areas.
Local self-help groups (SHGs) also participated in the event, displaying handmade products and promoting small-scale rural enterprise.
The camps saw active participation from the community, particularly women and elderly residents, according to the district information office.
