ANINI, Jul 5: Undeterred by continuous monsoon showers, Dibang Valley deputy commissioner Bekir Nyorak Saturday conducted a thorough inspection of several critical infrastructure projects here, reaffirming the district administration's commitment to timely and quality development.
Accompanied by circle officer Pemiya Mikro, district planning officer Zeela Meto, UD&H executive engineer Olom Apang, PWD assistant engineer Tojo Kamki, and other departmental officials, the deputy commissioner reviewed the progress of multiple ongoing works under the urban development & housing (UD&H) and PWD.
The inspection covered major projects including a 10-unit RCC ALC barrack, the boundary wall of the GA quarter, and the under-construction multi-storied government accommodation for officers and staff.
The team also assessed the operational readiness of the material recovery facility (MRF), aimed at improving waste management infrastructure in the township.
Addressing the teams on site, the DC stressed the importance of adhering strictly to the approved project specifications and maintaining quality at every stage of construction. He highlighted the vital role of site engineers in monitoring execution and ensuring that the infrastructure meets high standards of durability and public utility.
Nyorak further underscored the urgency of timely completion, citing the significant impact these projects would have on improving the living and working conditions of government personnel and the overall welfare of the community.
